1. Acceptance and license
By downloading, purchasing, or using DiskSage, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement that agreement. The Apple Standard EULA controls if a provision conflicts with it.
2. What DiskSage provides
DiskSage is a macOS storage analysis utility. It measures accessible data in a drive or folder you select, identifies potential cleanup candidates, and can provide optional AI-assisted recommendations. It does not promise to inspect every file. Even with Full Disk Access, App Sandbox, TCC, SIP, file permissions, Data Vaults, or other macOS protections can leave some locations inaccessible.
3. Your cleanup decisions
DiskSage does not delete files automatically. You decide what to select and must confirm cleanup. Selected items are moved to the macOS Trash. You are responsible for reviewing paths and recommendations, preserving needed data, and maintaining current backups before cleanup.
Labels such as Safe, Review, and Keep are recommendations, not guarantees. A cache or build directory can usually be recreated, but removal may trigger downloads, slow later builds, sign you out, remove offline content, or affect an active project. Personal large files and applications require individual judgment.
4. AI-assisted features
AI assessment and AI Assistant require separate consent and operate on limited metadata, not file contents. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for deleting important, unique, business, financial, legal, or otherwise sensitive data. Premium purchase does not itself constitute consent to AI processing.
5. Free and Premium subscriptions
The Free version includes local analysis and AI assessment with full details for the first five results of a scan. DiskSage Premium unlocks all available results, assesses all available candidates with AI within service limits, enables AI Assistant, and allows cleanup across the unlocked list.
Premium is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. The price, currency, billing period, and any offer shown in DiskSage are loaded from the App Store for your Apple Account. Payment is charged by Apple after purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled through your Apple Account settings, subject to the terms and renewal information shown by Apple at purchase. Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore an eligible purchase. Apple handles billing and refund requests.
6. Availability, fair use, and changes
Internet access is required for AI and may be required to load, purchase, restore, or refresh subscription status. Rolling daily AI and request limits apply to protect availability and control abuse. A subscription does not provide unlimited AI usage. We may update limits, models, supported result categories, or service behavior when reasonably necessary for security, quality, cost, or legal compliance. Core local analysis does not require AI consent.
7. Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with subscription verification, evade service limits, automate abusive requests, or use DiskSage in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law and the Apple Standard EULA, DiskSage is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee a particular amount of recovered space, complete disk coverage, a risk-free recommendation, uninterrupted AI availability, or recovery after the Trash is emptied. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local processing, optional AI data transfer, subscription verification, retention, and your choices.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms to reflect service or legal changes. The effective date identifies the current version. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription, which must be managed through Apple.
